Rick Opton - Owner/GM
Rick has lived in Jupiter since 1992. Prior to owning Loggerhead Fitness Rick was a Senior Sales executive working in the technology sector. Rick got his start with health clubs when he sold, installed and trained nearly 200 club owners around the country on ClubRunner software–industry specific software designed just for health clubs.
Jacquelyne Smith - Front Desk
Jacquelyn is degreed in Interior Design, Business Administration/Management, Certified Public Manager, Certified Events & Special Projects Management and an education in physical fitness training. She has been with Loggerhead Fitness since September 2005.
Jeff Holland - Front Desk
Jeff is a State Investigator for the Department of Business & Professional Resolution. Jeff has been a member and Part time associate of Loggerhead Fitness for over 10 years.
Emmy Jorgensen - Front Desk
Emmy’s passions are paddle boarding, kayaking, bike riding and exercise. After a 28 year career in an office environment, this is a welcome change and is happy to be a part of Loggerhead Fitness.
Natasha Holbert - Bookkeeper
Natasha was born and raised in South Florida. She has been married to Mark for over 10 years and has two children, Shyanne 20 and Preston 10. Tasha enjoys spending time with her family and friends and also enjoys playing softball.
Jeff Kallet - Front Desk
Jeff is originally from Central New York, born and raised with a background in film and art design, having earned a degree in both from FullSail University and Ithaca College. He has eight years of experience in banking and corporate marketing design. He enjoys mixed media art, fitness, any and all outdoor activities and the company of family and friends. He moved to Juno Beach on March 21st of 2016 and is loving every minute of it!
Rebecca Valenza - Marketing/PR
Rebecca Valenza is an established marketing pro who has helped Loggerhead Fitness with many projects such as composition of the monthly E-newsletters, the award of Small Business of the Year in 2014 from the NPBCC; the creation of Loggerhead’s social channels and various press releases over the years. She’s also been a loyal member and fan of the club since 1998 ~ even before we were Loggerhead.
Rob Mangiamele - Front Desk
Rob is an enthusiastic person always looking to assist others, especially in the gym. Growing up, he frequently participated in sports and found the competition to be fun and rewarding. Through years in the gym and actively looking for ways to get better, he found it useful to expand his horizons and constantly try new exercises. The gym atmosphere was a great way to meet people, make friends and learn to develop new healthy habits.
Gwynetta Henderson - Client Success Manager
Gwynetta Henderson is from Mississippi with a background in Chemical Engineering. While working in the industry for 4 years, she had a personal trainer bringing her through a weight loss journey to eventually competing in fitness competitions. After getting engaged in May 2016, she moved to Palm Beach Gardens to live with her fiancé and begin her career in the health club industry.
Katherine Orgill - Front Desk
Katherine Orgill moved to Palm Beach County from a small town in Central Florida where she grew up. She is now a college student in a Pre – Law program at a University working on her bachelors. In her spare time, she enjoys working out and doing adventurous activities with her friends.
Felicia Madeline - Front Desk
Originally from NE Ohio, Felicia moved to Jupiter in 2011. She has two beautiful adult children that sill reside in Ohio. She has a great zest for life, and enjoys helping others and always with a smile. Felicia works full time with a local internist and enjoys being a weekend warrior on the Loggerhead Fitness Team.
John Baker - Front Desk Manager
John grew up in Missouri and lived there until he was twenty-one. He attended Texas A&M and after college he worked in restaurant management for eleven years. He is a divorced father of six children, ages 3-18. Three boys and three girls and three of them are adopted from Ethiopia. Life is never dull.
Shortly after 9/11 he joined the Army, first as a reservist and soon after he went active duty. He served two tours in Iraq as a combat engineer, his last deployment was 2011 where he did route clearance, finding and clearing IED’s on the roads. His last assignment brought him to Florida in 2012.
The Army life brings wear and tear on the body. Five surgeries in five years brought on medical retirement and a return to civilian life. Getting back into fitness and being around positive people seeking to live healthier lives is what attracted him to this job.
Working at Loggerhead Fitness provides him the flexibility he needs as a parent to six children. Having a better quality of life is what mattered most. He appreciates the boutique nature of the gym but also recognizes the need to keep things running safe and efficiently.
