Loggerhead Fitness voted Palm Beach County’s #1 health and fitness club two years in a row offers a wide variety of fitness classes including aerobics, Pilates classes, step aerobics, kickboxing classes, gliding, group cycle classes, belly dancing, tai chi and more to the Juno Beach, Jupiter, and North Palm Beach communities.

The Cardio-Fitness program at Loggerhead Fitness offers variety of opportunities to help keep you active and fit. Our Group Fitness classes provide the perfect environment that’s non- intimidating and designed to help you reach your fitness goals.

GREAT TEACHERS MAKE GREAT CLASSES!
All of our instructors are nationally certified and must complete the necessary continuing educational hours to stay on top of the latest trends and to meet your needs. They are also required to be AED and CPR certified.

OVER 45 CLASSES EACH WEEK
We offer a variety of classes suited for everyone’s fitness levels from the beginner to the advanced athlete. All classes with the exception of Group Cycle are included in the membership. If you don’t see something suitable for your needs, please let us know and we will make every effort to accommodate your requests.

Julie Johnson - Personal Trainer / Group X

Certifications: NSCA

Julie attended the University of Florida and earned a master’s degree in Food and Resource Economics, but she has always had a passion for fitness. Now Julie is focusing on helping others meet their fitness goals. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Michael Dukes - Personal Trainer / Group X

Certifications: NASM, Madd Dog (Spin), GSM

“Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence.”

Michael is a personal chef, fitness enthusiast, music aficionado, professional deejay, sales professional, and certified indoor cycling instructor. Certified thru Madd Dogg Athletics, Michael brings over 20 years of music programming experience from the dancefloor into the spin cycle class to elevate your workouts to the next level. He also has over 16 collective years in the fitness industry, and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer specializing in Corrective Exercise and Golf Fitness training.

Fran Indellicati - Personal Trainer / Group X

Certifications: NASM-CPT

Fran is certified thru NASM (National Academy of Science Medicine) in wellness & fitness training, group exercise instruction, core & functional fitness, water aerobics as well as being trained in the Tivity Silver Sneakers program.  She also studies the ancient practice of Qigong/Tai-chi and became certified thru the Supreme Science Foundation in Orlando, FL in 2012; she even has certification in Food-based Healing thru that organization. After working in the healthcare industry as a medical assistant in orthopedics for several years, she transitioned to the fitness industry back in 2013 because of a strong desire to help individuals, at whatever stage in their life, follow a more wholesome and sustainable lifestyle.

Christine Lange - Group X / Personal Trainer

Certifications: NASM, AFAA, SPIN, Strong by Zumba, POUND®,

Christine Lange is certified by the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).

She is a nationally ranked Figure Competitor with over 20 years of experience motivating and coaching. During her career, Christine has been privileged to work with a number of high-profile clients located in the Hamptons, New York, Scottsdale, Arizona, Miami, and Palm Beach Florida.

Christine has taught group fitness to a diverse clientele for over 20 years.

She is certified in Spin, Step Aerobics, Kickboxing, Body pump, Strong by Zumba, Poundfit, and she created a class called “Bikini Bootcamp”.

Christine graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Certificate to teach High School English and Drama. Christine taught for ten years in Arizona and Florida schools and currently uses her many skills to motivate others to achieve their fitness and weight loss goals.

Rachel “Sam” Erbaugh - Group X Pilates

Certifications: Barre, Pilates, Bootcamp, Aquafit

As a National Champion in swimming and rowing, Rachel’s passion for fitness started young and grew for 25 years. Trained in many fitness programs, such as Barre, Pilates, Bootcamp, Aquafit, Stretching, and many strength and toning techniques.

She prides herself on making her clients see results, and quickly. Rachel always has a smile on her face while pushing you to your max potential.

Originally from the western suburbs of Philadelphia, she has loved residing in PBC since 2010. “Palm trees make me happy!” In her time off, Rachel owns a pet care business. Her own dog, Drake, is her biggest fan.

C.J. Eaton - Group X - Cycle & Yoga & Pump

Certifications: AFAA.

CJ has been an instructor for over 31 years, 20 of them at Loggerhead. She teaches Group Cycle, Cardio Fitness and Yoga classes. She is a registered nurse specializing in women’s and children’s healthcare.

Irina Wetzel - Group X - Instructor

Certifications:  AFAA, LES MILLS

Irina was born in Lima Peru and in 2005 started her fitness career. She is AFAA and Les Mills certified and teaches many types of Group X classes. She also attended the prestigious Institute of Human Performance in Boca Raton, (2013-2015) where she received her certification as Personal Trainer with an emphasis on functional training. She is passionate about what she does and believes her talents come from a spiritual place. She is a vessel of healing through spirit and movement.

Rita Benza - Group X - Zumba

Certifications:  Zumba, AFAA

Rita grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. She obtained her Zumba Instructor license in 2011. She also teaches Zumba Step, Zumba Gold, Zumba Toning, and Strong by Zumba Fitness.  Her Primary Group Ex Certification is through AFAA (Athletics and Fitness association of America). She is current in her continuing education hours as well as her CPR through American Red Cross in Adult and Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED. She teaches various formats of group fitness including but not limited to HIIT (high intensity interval training), Bootcamp, Cardio Sculpt, Cardio Strength, Tabata, Cardio Core and Tone as well as Circuit Training.

Lori Hackbart - Group X - Instructor

Certifications: AFAA

Lori has been leading group fitness for 35 years and loves it! Originally from Boulder, Colorado, Lori, her husband and two daughters have lived from coast to coast and only recently relocated to Florida. From rollerblading to biking to kayaking Lori loves outdoors activities and enjoys all Florida has to offer, especially bike riding year round. She considers being at the Disney parks an outdoor sport. Lori is AFAA and CPR certified and thrilled to be teaching at Loggerhead Fitness.

Nora Lara - Group X - Zumba

From a Caribbean country, Venezuela, and always involved in the dancing world. Nora became a Zumba instructor because one of her passions is to dance. Nora also teaches group fitness and she is working towards receiving her Silver Sneakers certification. Her classes are always a party. She enjoys teaching while building strong healthy bodies!

Bonnie Hubscher - Group X - Mat Pilates & Yoga

Certifications: Mat Pilates, Yoga & Group Cycle

An original founder of Stayin’ Alive Fitness Centers in Palm Beach Gardens and Lake Worth, Bonnie has been working in the health & fitness industry since 1980. Her true passion is that of a teacher of movement. She is certified in Pilates, Yoga and Group Cycle. Her own special style fuses Vinyasa Yoga and Pilates Mat and incorporates vigorous, athletic, but therapeutic joint movement while strengthening what’s weak and releasing what’s over tight. Her creativity blooms through her carefully selected music that inspires the choreography of her exercise sessions. Bonnie emphasizes attention to detail, fluidity with precision, and mental focus. Her mission is for you to leave feeling successful, better than when you arrived, and more aware of who you are mind, body, and spirit.

Anna Drewnowska - Group X - Mat Pilates

Certifications: Mat Pilates, Silver Sneakers

Ania was born and raised in Poland. She came to the USA in 2004, and lived in Richmond , VA for 12 years. She moved to Jupiter in 2016. Ania has Master’s degree in English Philology and was an ESL teacher for over 30 years. She has been teaching Pilates since 2007. She loves skiing, biking, kayaking and tennis, traveling and camping, but also reading books and studying foreign languages.

Aylin Ryan - Group X - Zumba

Certifications: AFAA Group Fitness, Zumba, Zumba Gold, Zumba Toning, Silver Sneakers, CPR/AED

Education: Master of Social Work and Bachelor in Science with Majors in Botany and Environmental Studies

Aylin has loved to dance since she was a little girl. She studied belly dancing during her college years and three years ago fell in love with Zumba. She obtained her Zumba, Zumba Toning and Zumba Gold license and has been teaching for two years. Aylin is also certified to teach AFAA Group Fitness classes. She is Silver Sneakers and CPR/AED certified. Aylin’s goal is to create a fun atmosphere where people forget they are working out and look forward to coming back to take their next class.

Nicole Sedito - Yoga Instructor

Certifications: HATHA Yoga.

Nicole has been practicing and teaching Yoga since 1973 in New York and Florida. She has been teaching at Loggerhead Fitness since 2005. She is certified through the Yoga Teachers Alliance. She also teaches country line.

Elizabeth Bond - Yoga Instructor

Elizabeth has been practicing yoga for 9 years and teaching in the Jupiter area for three. She feels blessed to share these healing practices with the community. Her aim is to help students feel comfortable and confident in their own bodies by improving their physical, mental, and emotional states both on and off the yoga mat.

Chris Eliades - Yoga Instructor

Chris’ knowledge and compassion for Yoga challenges the strength & flexibility of both the body and mind. He works closely with his students offering a “hands on” approach to proper alignment and adjustments when necessary. Chris’ personal philosophy in life is P.eace L.ove A.warness Y.oga

Jennifer Abate - Group X - Cycle

Certifications: Mad Dogg Spinning, Les Mills

Jennifer grew up in Massachusetts and is a graduate of Florida Southern College. She taught several years in the Palm Beach and Polk County School Districts until she stayed home to raise her four children. During that time, she became involved in group fitness classes as a participant.

Jennifer loved the accountability and motivation that the group atmosphere provided. She became Les Mills Certified in Body Pump and Body Combat in 2008 and 2009. Mad Dogg spin soon followed in 2009.

In 2011, she received her Personal Training Certificate and built a successful business. Jennifer felt that personal training and group fitness was the perfect combination.

She loves seeing people make positive changes in themselves through exercise and proper nutritional guidelines. She feels that her energic personality, ability to motivate others, and commitment to a healthy lifestyle are essential in helping others achieve their fitness goals.

Valerie Kitchen - Group X - Pilates

Certifications: Pilates, Zenga & Barre

Valerie has been involved with fitness her entire life. In 1972 she trained with Bonnie Prudden who helped get the presidential fitness tests in our public schools. She was also a synchronized swimming coach and taught slimnastics and aerobics dance.

She trained at the Kenneth Cooper institute of Dallas Texas and learned NIA which means Neuro Integrative Approach. She has Yoga training and has trained with the Stott Pilates method. She has been teaching Pilates since 2000. She has a dance background and currently is teaching Barre Blast and Pilates here at Loggerhead Fitness.

After fifty years of teaching, she brings joy and humor to her classes. Her focus is to bring her students good alignment and foundational principles. Her purpose is to help you get a great feeling for being alive. Originally from the great state of Maine, she now resides in Palm Beach County and would love to train you. Her motto is: “Motion is lotion, don’t stop til you drop.”

Loren McGuire - Group X - Cycle

Certifications: Madd Dog Athletics

Originally from Connecticut, Loren escaped the cold to move to sunny South Florida after graduating from Elon University. She found a passion for indoor cycling and decided to become a certified instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics in 2013. She brings energy and a variety of music to every class to get the party started! Loren believes the key to a consistent healthy lifestyle is to enjoy what you are doing.

Steve Marineau - Group X - Cycle

Certifications: Mad Dogg Athletics SPIN Certified.

A recent immigrant from Wisconsin, Steve has been a Spin instructor Since 2009. His Specialty is helping people new to group cycling get properly set up on the bike, and working with correct cycling posture.
